| Often throughout my life I have struggled with my "purpose" in life. While I understand that ultimately it is to glorify God through my life, it has not been very concrete most of the time. Recently I was able to attend a church camp for 5 days that I had grown up attending. It was a great time of spiritual refreshing for me and I believe I have a better handle on my purpose now than ever before. I don't know how it will work out because I could never pull it off by myself. That is the beauty of God's purpose for us--it takes His hand to bring it about. If we could do it, then it would be all about us and not about Him.
I'm excited to see how this all works out. I pray that I'll be obedient every step along the way.
Blessings to all who read this as you seek to know and fulfill your purpose.

| I have Michael Jackson fatigue. It may be sad that he died, but it certainly does not amount to a tragedy any more than the death of any person does. He may have been a talented entertainer, but one who seemed not to understand the gift he was given and certainly one who didn't use his talents for anything more than furthering himself. I've heard enough already.

| The Penguins won the Stanley Cup once again. That makes Pittsburgh the City of Champions again. How sweet it is!

| No one reads my xanga anymore. Ok. Bye.

| What's up with my trying to post a new xanga entry and having it not respond and then posting it 3 times? No wonder people are bored and leaving xanga for Facebook!
